The problem
You run a great practice. You're forced to run five to eight other systems.
A typical practice stacks a practice management system, a patient communication tool, an insurance verification service, a billing vendor, an analytics add-on, and one or more AI point solutions. None of them share a record. Your team re-enters the same data in every one, and the gaps between them are where diagnoses, claims, and dollars go missing.
Up to 50%
of early caries and periodontal disease goes undetected in visual-only exams.
Missed diagnoses
30-40%
variation in X-ray interpretation between dentists. Same film, different diagnosis.
Inconsistent reads
$50K-$150K
per year lost by a typical clinic to under-coding, denials, and manual workflows.
Billing errors
$12.4B
lost across the US dental industry every year to billing errors and missed diagnoses.
Annual impact
Industry benchmarks and management estimates; sources available on request.
The solution
The back office you never had. Chair to claim, in one system.
AI-native, not AI-added. Every module is designed so the AI can act on the data, not just report on it.
A finding on an X-ray becomes a charted condition, a treatment plan line, a CDT code, a pre-authorization, a claim, and a posted payment, without anyone typing it twice. While you focus on patients, ENAMELAI keeps the business moving.
01Capture the imageSensors and DICOM devices feed the record chairside.

One platform, one login
Patient, clinical, financial, communication, and operational data live in one place and compound. No integrations to babysit, no exports to reconcile.
AI-native, not AI-added
Diagnostics, coding, claims, calls, and analytics run on the same record, so every exception a human resolves makes the models better.
Consolidation is the ROI
Fewer subscriptions, less manual insurance and billing work, less documentation time. Each tier is designed to replace roughly three times its price in separate tools.
See the whole loop, front desk to posted payment, in a ten-minute demo.
Coverage is verified before the appointment. Claims go out clean, with the radiographs and narratives attached. The AI follows every claim to payment, corrects and resubmits denials, posts the remittance, and matches it to the bank deposit. Your team sees only the exceptions.

Practice intelligence
Your PMS should be growing the practice.
Five role-aware dashboards, twenty-three report bundles, and opportunity analytics that turn unscheduled treatment, overdue recalls, and open chair time into today's action list. Owners, managers, providers, and the front desk each see the goals and queues that matter to them.
Overview and Huddle track appointments, confirmations, no-shows, hygiene utilization, same-day treatment, and new patients against goals, with a production leaderboard for the morning huddle.
Finance and Performance break down collections, production by provider, AR aging, days to collect, and data-hygiene checks that flag missing procedure codes before they cost you a claim.

Practice-wide AI assistant
Stop hunting through reports. Just ask.Rolling out 2027
A conversational assistant in the side rail that understands your whole practice dataset. Ask a question in plain language, get the answer in seconds, then let it draft the messages and trigger the workflow without leaving the screen you are on.
Answers across patients, schedule, claims, and production, not one report at a time.
Drafts recall texts, pre-authorization narratives, and patient explanations in your voice.
Triggers workflows: schedule, send, submit, or assign, from the same conversation.

Clinical intelligence
A second set of eyes on every image. A second pair of hands on every note.
Deep-learning models read dental radiographs in seconds and surface findings for the dentist's review, and everything the dentist confirms flows into the chart, the plan, and the claim.
Illustrative example on a real panoramic radiograph (public domain, CC0) with sample findings for demonstration; caries are confirmed on bitewings before treatment. Models validated internally at 95%+ accuracy. Radiograph analysis is clinical decision support for the treating dentist and does not replace professional judgment.
95%+ accuracy
Imaging analysis
Caries at early, moderate, and advanced stages, periodontal bone loss with staging, and pathology such as periapical lesions and cysts, surfaced on every bitewing and periapical image for the dentist to confirm.
Automated CDT coding
Findings and procedures map to the correct codes so nothing billable is missed, with AI-written narratives ready for pre-authorization.
Voice charting and perio
Chart conditions and record a full periodontal exam hands-free: pocket depth, gingival margin, attachment level, bleeding, furcation, and mobility on every site.
Ambient clinical notes
The provider talks, the system drafts the note, linked to the visit and the charted findings, with versioning and search across every patient.
Treatment planning
Multiple named plans per patient with phases, status, and a pricing summary: total charges, estimated insurance payment, and patient responsibility, with involved teeth highlighted on the chart.
Patient-facing reports
Plain-language explanations of what the AI found and why the treatment matters, so patients say yes with confidence.
The platform
Every workflow a practice runs on. Native, in one record.
Nineteen workflow areas plus the AI diagnostics layer, from the front desk to the bank statement. Single locations get everything out of the box; groups and DSOs get clinic switching, tenant isolation, and consolidated reporting on the same platform.

How we compare
The only platform with every workflow native.
Dental AI point solutions have proven the diagnostics layer. Legacy practice management systems cover the basics and bolt the rest on through partners and add-ons. ENAMELAI is the only platform in our audit where every workflow is first-party, on one record, and closes the loop to billing.

Your stack, per year$79,200ENAMELAI replaces this entire stack with one subscription designed to cost a fraction of it, before the revenue recovered from cleaner claims and fewer missed findings.
Illustrative estimate only. Billing benchmarks: outsourced dental billing typically charges 4-9% of collections or $1,000-$3,000 a month flat (Verimedix, 2026); an in-house billing coordinator costs about $45-55K a year. Results are not a guarantee of savings.
Pricing is provided on request, per location, excluding applicable taxes. Tier contents may change before commercial launch; subscription terms are set in the customer agreement.
Security and compliance
HIPAA by design, not as an afterthought.
Privacy controls live in the interface and the infrastructure. One click masks every patient identifier on screen, every action is logged, and every data store is backed up and tested for recovery.
HIPAA View
A one-click toggle in the header masks patient-identifying data on screen for demos, training, and shared workstations.
Role-aware access
Owners, managers, providers, and front desk each see what their role needs and nothing more. A Business Associate Agreement is signed with every practice we onboard.
Audit logging
A dedicated logging service records user and system actions consistently across every module, ready for governance reporting.
Secrets in Key Vault
Credentials and secrets live in Azure Key Vault. Services run isolated on Azure Kubernetes Service with images in a private registry.
Backup and recovery
Database, workloads, documents, imaging, registry, and vault covered by retention policies, restore validation, and end-to-end recovery testing.
Tenant isolation
Each practice is its own tenant. Multi-location groups switch clinics inside the app without ever mixing records.

About ENAMELAI
Built by dentists who were tired of running eight systems.
ENAMELAI was founded in May 2023 in Irvine, California by practicing dentists and AI engineers. The platform is tested every day in a working practice in Laguna Hills, where the team has seen lower front-office overhead, automated claims and billing, and faster AI-assisted workflows before a single line of marketing was written.
Our goal is simple: become the intelligent operating layer for dental practices, replacing outdated management systems with automation, analytics, and AI-driven decision support.

Milestones
2023Founded in Irvine, California in May by practicing dentists and AI engineers. Cloud foundation on Microsoft Azure: multi-tenant architecture, Kubernetes, DICOM imaging service, Key Vault.
Dental practice management software is a $3.1 billion market today, projected to reach $6.8 billion by 2033, while AI in dentistry compounds at roughly 22% a year through 2034. The 180,000-plus practices in the United States still run on systems designed before the cloud, let alone before AI. The system of record is up for grabs, and the platform that owns it owns the workflow, the data, and the revenue cycle.

DentiMax 2026 benchmarks
AI has been proven at the chair
Dental AI point solutions have shown that dentists adopt and pay for AI-assisted reads. They stop at the diagnosis. The claim, the payment, and the schedule still live somewhere else.
Overhead is the pain that gets budget
Outsourced billing takes 4-9% of collections, or $1,000-$3,000 a month flat, and an in-house billing coordinator runs $45-55K a year. Automating eligibility, claims, follow-up, and posting inside the system of record returns that money to the practice.
Consolidation favors the platform
Groups and DSOs keep growing, staffing keeps getting harder, and every added location multiplies the cost of a fragmented stack. One record, one login, and group-level intelligence is the product this shift demands.
Our thesis: the system of record wins. Diagnostics, communication, and revenue cycle are features of the patient record, not separate products. Build the record around AI and every workflow compounds.
Questions
What practices ask us first.
Is ENAMELAI a full practice management system or an add-on to my current one?
A full system. Scheduling, patients, charting, imaging, forms, communications, claims, billing, and analytics run on one record with one login. It is designed to replace the stack, not sit beside it.
When can my practice start using it?
Version 1 completes in late 2026 and founding practices onboard in early 2027. Join the waitlist and we will reach out with onboarding dates for your area. A ten-minute live demo is available now.
Does it work with my sensors and imaging software?
ENAMELAI accepts images from DICOM-compatible sensors and devices through its imaging pipeline, backed by the Azure DICOM Service. Images attach to the patient record and open in the viewer from the charting screen.
How do insurance eligibility and claims work?
Eligibility checks, electronic claims, attachments, and ERA/835 remittances flow through the DentalXChange clearinghouse. The AI selects CDT codes from charted procedures, writes the narratives, submits with attachments, follows up, and posts the remittance.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
ENAMELAI is designed and operated to support HIPAA compliance, and a Business Associate Agreement is signed with every practice we onboard. HIPAA View masks identifiers on screen, access is role-aware, actions are logged, secrets live in Azure Key Vault, and every data store is backed up with tested recovery.
Do you support multiple locations or DSOs?
Yes. Each practice is its own tenant, a clinic switcher moves you between locations inside the app, and group-level dashboards and reports consolidate performance. Additional locations are priced per location; contact us for group pricing.
Do I need to install anything?
No. ENAMELAI is a cloud application you open in the browser. There is no on-premise server to buy, patch, or back up.
Is the radiograph AI FDA cleared?
ENAMELAI's radiograph analysis features are provided as clinical decision and workflow support for licensed dental professionals. They surface findings for the dentist to review and confirm; the dentist makes every diagnosis and treatment decision. These features have not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and our regulatory posture is described in our legal notices.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Your practice owns its records. Data is exportable in standard formats, and our customer agreement sets out retention and return of data at the end of a subscription.

Clinical decision support and regulatory status
ENAMELAI's radiograph analysis features are intended to provide clinical decision and workflow support to licensed dental professionals by surfacing findings for the dentist's review. They are not intended to diagnose disease or to replace the professional judgment of the treating dentist, who remains responsible for every diagnosis and treatment decision. These features have not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. ENAMELAI monitors regulatory requirements for software functions of this kind and will update this notice if its regulatory status changes.
Performance claims
The statement that ENAMELAI's models detect caries, bone loss, and pathology at "95%+ accuracy" reflects internal validation on ENAMELAI's own labeled radiograph dataset and has not been independently verified or evaluated in a prospective clinical study. Performance in practice depends on image quality, patient population, and clinical context. Methodology is available to customers and evaluators on request.
Forward-looking statements
Statements on this site about planned features, release timing (including "Version 1" and "2027"), commercial launch, market size and growth, and expected practice outcomes are forward-looking statements based on management's current expectations. They involve risks and uncertainties, including product development, regulatory, integration, and market risks, and actual results may differ materially.

HIPAA
ENAMELAI is designed and operated to support HIPAA compliance and enters into a Business Associate Agreement with each practice it serves. Statements such as "built for HIPAA compliance" describe our safeguards and contractual commitments; there is no government certification for HIPAA compliance.
